Royal Caribbean family cruises offer exciting programs for guests of all ages, including the new Crown & Anchor Society Youth Program. With membership, children 17 and under can earn credit for cruising with us and receive special onboard benefits.

Teens can discover a whole new world of cruising just for them onboard Royal Caribbean family cruises. From dancing until 2am in the teen-only dance club to hanging out with friends in the teen-only lounge, there's plenty of options to make new friends and explore independently.

As for the younger set, Royal Caribbean has activities for wee ones starting at just 6 months old. The Fisher-Price Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots Programs for children 6-36 months old was developed by Fisher-Price exclusively for Royal Caribbean International.

Kids ages 3-11 will especially love the complimentary Adventure Ocean® Youth Program, specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every member of the staff holds a college degree in education or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children, so you can feel confident that your kids will have the time of their lives while learning a little in the process.

Aqua Babies (Ages 6-18 months)

To make your time onboard even more enjoyable, join in the fun of Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots, interactive classes developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions. Aqua Babies program hours vary based on ship and itinerary. Babies will enjoy challenging, age-appropriate activities and, with your help, enhance their willingness to try new things. This playgroup encourages baby's sense of accomplishment while building skills.
Everyday Early Learning
Reinforce early learning of simple concepts - like the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors - with hands-on exploration of familiar things from everyday life, brought down to baby's size.
Get Up & Go
This playgroup will promote social, emotional and most importantly, physical development with the help of Baby GymtasticsTM toys, activities and games.

Aqua Tots (Ages 18-36 months)

To make your time on board even more enjoyable, join your 18- to 36-month-old in the fun of Aqua Tots, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Each 45-minute session offers age-appropriate activities that expose children to new experiences and teach you how to make playtime learning time as well. Plus, your little one will be all smiles and giggles as they make new discoveries, sing, sway and play with great toys they are sure to love. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

Pirates and Princesses
Go on imaginative journeys to ancient times and faraway lands, enjoying pretend play with castles, pirates, stories and activities.
Busy Builders
Little ones build big imaginations as they create cities, farms, jungles and whatever else they can imagine with special building blocks and toys.
Learning Fundamentals
Kids love to sing, dance and learn new things! Get them moving and singing as they learn ABCs, 123s, phonics, shapes, colors and more, with the help of learning toys, music, games, and lots of other fun activities.

Aquanauts (Ages 3-5)

The Aquanauts program is specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Your child will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments and make great new friends. To participate, children must be fully potty-trained and 3 years of age as of the first day of the cruise. Pull-ups or diapers are not allowed. You can feel confident leaving your children with us because every member of the Adventure Ocean® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation or related field and has experience working with children ages 3-17.

These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to mask making, fish kites and pottery. Using art as an avenue for exploration, the lesson plans provide a unique onboard experience for children, incorporating information about specific geographic locations with hands-on art. Crayola Art projects make creativity a part of every child's experience wherever they may travel.
Sail Into Storytime
These theme-related storytime sessions bring each story to life with activities, discussions on each story and hands-on activities for the children to participate in after each reading.

Royal Caribbean family cruises give teens the freedom they seek. The Living Room is a laid-back place where they can just hang with new friends. And Fuel is the place where the party is. Open 'til 2am, they can dance, listen to music or just hang out there.

Dining

For the youngest guests, Royal Caribbean family cruises offer a kid's menu featuring all their favorites: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, peanut butter, and mac and cheese. Kids have their own beverage programs too. The Unlimited Soda Package lets them enjoy as many fountain sodas as they want.

On selected nights, the youth staff hosts dinners in casual restaurants. It's a great opportunity for kids to eat with other kids and for parents to enjoy a meal alone.

Babysitting

Babysitting is offered both in a group setting and individually in your stateroom. In-stateroom babysitting must be booked through the Guest Relations Desk (Purser's Desk) at least 24 hours in advance.

It cannot be booked prior to the cruise vacation and there is no guarantee that sitters will be available. The service is offered when personnel is available.

Children MUST be at least 1 year old.

Approximate rate: $10 per hour for one or two children within the same family or $15 per hour for three children within the same family.
